This policy explains how ServerTurk provides datacenter infrastructure, network connectivity, port management, routing, and DDoS protection.
By purchasing any service, the customer agrees to this policy.
ServerTurk provides:
Redundant uplinks
Fiber backbone infrastructure
Datacenter physical security
DDoS protection (within capacity)
Monitoring & automation systems
However, global routing and internet connectivity depend on external factors beyond ServerTurk’s control.
In Turkey, BTK may impose:
Port blocks
Traffic filtering
Regional access restrictions
Protocol limitations for security reasons
These restrictions are not ServerTurk’s responsibility and do not grant any compensation.
ServerTurk may:
Close BTK-restricted ports
Limit ports in case of abuse
Adjust routing during DDoS events
Customers are responsible for:
Firewall configuration
Open/closed ports
Software-level port forwarding
RDP/SSH port changes
ServerTurk provides DDoS mitigation within available capacity.
The following are outside protection scope:
Attacks exceeding mitigation capacity
Layer 7 (HTTP flood) attacks
Multi-vector botnet traffic
Upstream saturation
International volumetric attacks
In such cases:
Accessibility may be affected
SLA does not apply
No compensation is provided
Routing and latency depend on:
Local ISPs
International carriers
Telecom backbone policies
Global internet exchange points
BGP routing changes
Therefore:
High ping
Route deviations
Packet loss
International latency
are not ServerTurk’s responsibility.
Outages from the following providers are outside ServerTurk’s control:
Türk Telekom
Superonline
Cogent
Telia
Lumen
GTT
Seabone
Deutsche Telekom
Global IXPs
These events are not eligible for SLA credits.
The following do NOT count as downtime:
Planned maintenance
Switch/uplink upgrades
Rack maintenance
UPS/Generator tests
Emergency security interventions
ServerTurk notifies customers when possible.
The following are violations:
Flooding / scanning / brute-force
Sending spam
Launching DDoS attacks
Using servers as illegal VPN/Proxy exits
Generating abnormal upstream traffic
ServerTurk may:
Limit traffic
Close ports
Suspend the service
Permanently terminate the service
ServerTurk is not responsible for:
BTK-related port restrictions
Upstream ISP failures
Global routing issues
Ping/latency variations
DDoS attacks exceeding capacity
Customer misconfiguration
Slowdowns caused by bandwidth overuse
Application-level networking problems
These issues do not qualify for refunds or compensation.
